What makes this ordeal even worse is that Noah went to social media and tripled down on the "no puncture" claims.

Totally doesn't look like a puncture, guys.

Old surface, low grip, huge tire wear. Honestly perfect facility, just needs better cars on it than this.

Only caught the last 60 laps but that's the best racing at the end of a stint I've seen with this package.

Reddick was gonna be there on pace. Just had to fight Larson and Truex too hard.

I was amazed at how much faster Reddick was compared to everybody else late in the race, even though he was on tires that were just as old as everybody else's. Another few laps, I think he could have made it 3 for 3 in first time winners. I was also impressed by how Michael McDowell ran yesterday. He won Daytona and ran well on the road course, a track he knows better than about anybody in the field. Then he got another top 10 finish at Miami. Who would have guessed that he and Kevin Harvick would be the only two drivers to finish top 10 in all 3 races so far?

Carl Long statement posted on Facebook yesterday (photo of the tire that Wookie tweeted attached to the post)
Carl Long Motorsports (Facebook) wrote:
This is the Rf tire that came apart on David Starr while running 12th position on lead lap, with a few Laps remaining. The tread came apart as he dropped down to give Gragson the top lane. The car then slid up into the wall.
Gragson made a statement that we were dip$hits that did not belong on track! Well this over entitled mouthpiece did not have enough talent to miss our wreck. We were happy to take home a top 12 finish, that rolled right out of our hands just like the tire rubber rolled off of this tire.
There are not many people left in this garage who have worked as hard and sacrificed as much as myself to get to this level.. Statements like his could and usually does come back and cost him.

and to the surprise of nobody, Gragson is still acting like a spoiled rotten brat over his incident from Saturday on social media today

What a disingenuous prick. There’s a difference between a corded tire and one that just straight up unraveled like Starr’s did in the end. Yeah, the timing was brutal and heartbreaking for the 9, but nobody fucked him over. It was rotten luck and he’s FAAAAAARRR from the first competitor to have it.

There's a reason I was happy to see Gragson taken out from the lead before I even knew who was at fault.

Okay, I stand corrected.

He quadrupled downed on it.

I like that one response to Noah on Twitter, tho: make it easy on all of us and just deck Starr and be done with it.

Mike Joy is subtweeting the hell out of Gragson today. Here's the highlight so far:
