When was the last time a season opened with consecutive first-career winners? Or, for that matter, the last time we had two in a row at any point?

1950: Harold Kite at Daytona Beach (also first career start) & Tim Flock at the old Charlotte Speedway (north of the current airport)

the cars should have a horn ball (like the dirt to daytona cheat) that they can launch at anytime at another driver.
