That felt like a Video Game on an old school 90s console that couldn't handle any random events or more than 4/5 cars worth of AI

They went out, ran around the track exactly to program and we got a champion, but it wasn't a spectacle worth sitting down to watch

More power please, NASCAR.

All 3 series had a winner that didn't felt worthy of the title for me. Indeed this format has to go. Would have loved to see what happened to Harvick happen to Chase Elliot. So the fans could force Nascar to change it. Not for Elliot. I'm happy for him. It just not worthy. Harvick was the real winner this season.

Harvick is the biggest loser of the Chase/Playoff/Whatever BS format. Including 2020 he'd won the title four times under the old 180-pts per win format (2010, 2015, 2017 and 2020) IIRC.

when Trump motorcade gives the first laps of the season ahead right before a race stopping rain you know that the season would be all torned up
