looking like it's gonna be a wet one this weekend for all 3 races

-

decided to not attend on Saturday, just didn't think it was worth the risks of COVID and the $50 ticket for 18 cars for IMSA & then the NASCAR portion having no practice or qualifying

tropical systems tend to soak up the surrounding moisture, so there's a chance it'll actually be dry

It's gonna be F1 rain isn't it? All this talk and ends up not raining.

watching this race on TV is gonna be annoying knowing how much shit they miss on a good day (can easily compare at Charlotte with the big screen)

Dunno how to feel about stages and racing in the rain. Are they just gonna tippy toe now till the finish?

At least the caution was out already, saves me being annoyed that they stopped teams deciding for themselves

All that would happen is you'd have a repeat of the 2001 All-Star race and then everyone left would get to change under yellow anyway.

I don't think I've seen a race this year except for 1 lap of the hungarian GP where rain hasn't resulted in whatever race control throwing a yellow to manage the conditions for the drivers and teams

I legit think there has been some FIA directive or change in insurance policy that the Race Director has the responsiblity to ensure the teams are on the right tyres instead of leaving it up to them

Iono, it's too dry for full wets right now so I reckon somebody could have risked it for a few more laps
