The remnants of Hurricane/Tropical Storm Sally are projected to hit the area here in Bristol Thursday, so Thursday may be a wash out.

ARCA has 27 cars entered for Bristol. That might be the biggest entry list they've had since Daytona.

K&N East has. They're more or less the same cars.

the VHT ruined the races there as it ended up becoming a boring single file train demo derby

Not worth it for the mid-atlantic based Modified fans (like myself) to attend when 60% of their races got shorten at least 25 to 50 laps due to rain or to setup for the pre-race TV show & driver intros for the Trucks, especially when there's much better tracks for them here in the south (Martinsville, South Boston, Orange County, Tri-County, Langley, Hickory, Kenly etc.)

not worth it for teams given it's a 10+ hour drive from NY / CT / NH (for most of them) to have rule changes as soon as you pull up (i.e. the restrictor plates & huge spoilers on their last race there) & to tear up equipment for a purse that most of the field would be in the red afterwards

also would of been canceled regardless due to COVID restrictions like Martinsville & likely SoBo as part of the field would be subject to quarantine on their return back to their home states (i.e. the reason why Watkins Glen had all of their big races canceled this year)

Before everyone parties, just remember it was a 14 car field with 2 start and parks and Deegan wrecked. Smith was also 25 laps down.
