Well, the least likable driver in the whole series gets his first win. That's unfortunate.

Even under a green finish the coverage immediately cuts to all the wrecked cars

Kudos to Nascar to keep this race green until the finish.

Byron and Johnson, starting the day so close in points, couldn't have finished more apart.

Old school racing back to the flag.

Bowyer had a hard pancake hit there that looks almost meh by modern crashfest standards.

This race was good until Davison crashed (unfortunate).

Reddick thought it's a good idea to pull a slide job on Kyle Busch (stupid)

Either Logano blocked like he usually does or Hamlin drove like he usually does in superspeedway races. Either way, that triggered yet another dumb wreck.

why am I complaining, I should have expected that this is gonna happen.

Because he is a student at and is sponsored by one of the most conservative universities in the United States. And 99.7% of this board are liberals.

Ah, politics. Well, ignorance was a blessing once again. I was looking forward to seeing him succeed, knowing how much Chad Knaus was trying to make him a winner. And how he came from iRacing.

I was reading about this college on wikipedia and this part catched my eye

Quote:
The Liberty University honor code prohibits premarital sex. Visiting members of the opposite sex alone is also prohibited. Students are not allowed to consume alcohol or tobacco.

must be the most boring college in America

Performance on the racetrack is all that matters imo

I don't like Kyle because of his roughhousing, guitar smashing douchebaggery on the racetrack, I have no idea or any interest in how he votes

I think I can imagine how Austin Dillon votes, but I hate him for that Daytona 500 finish where he cba doing anything but wreck the guy in front to win and every reacted like this was Spa 2000 level of overtaking brilliance.

I'm sure it was a good idea for Byron to take that money from his university for sponsorship, but considering NASCAR'S demographic, all it is is the right wing version of virtue signalling as the majority of the fanbase probably already agrees with it.
He won't exactly be turning any heads with it

This is accurate.

I would venture to guess that 75% of my co-workers here in my IT department have a Liberty U degree. I do not however. But I surmise that their IT curriculum must be fairly top notch.
