I would love to see racing back at North Wilkesboro. I know there has been a lot of cleanup and work being done at the track recently. Hopefully they can make this a reality.

Ray Evernham statement on the North Wilkesboro news, doesn't think 2022 is possible w/ how much construction is needed

Makes sense since I'm sure there is a lot of work to be done to get the track race ready. I'm sure a repave and installing safer barriers are a must. The grandstands and garage areas are also likely in need of repair or replacement, as well. Who knows what else needs to be addressed under the surface as well. That is a lot to ask to have completed in 8 or 9 months. I think 2023 is a far more realistic expectation to have everything ready to go.

seems like the schedule might be released tomorrow, judging from what SRX has tweeted over the last couple days

You would be correct, here it is.

June 18: Five Flags Speedway Pensacola, FL

June 26: South Boston Speedway South Boston, VA

July 2: Stafford Motor Speedway Stafford Springs, CT

July 9: Nashville Fairgrounds Nashville, TN

July 16 I-55 Raceway Pevely, MO

July 23: Sharon Speedway Hartford, OH

I'm intrigued by the race at I-55 since it's not too far from me.

From what I understand, they are rotating between tracks on the schedule. Even though Slinger isn't on the schedule this year doesn't mean that they won't be back at some point.

Was hoping Mark Webber would try again after having to miss out last year.

Surprised that Tony Stewart isn't on the list of drivers, at this point.

I'm not surprised by this. Ken Schrader is the track promoter and he still races dirt modifieds regularly.
