This proves that, yes, you CAN have a good race in a stock car at Indianapolis. All it takes is to add a few right turns and run it clockwise, that's all. |

Matt DiBenedetto deserves some credit for the race yesterday. He's the one that tested the various layouts at the track and he told NASCAR which one was the best layout for stock cars. |

Because, let's be honest, the Mickey Mouse sector is balls. In any car. |

Is that a rain delay or when will they start? |

Good grief. The broadcast just said this is the 5th straight Cup race that has had a weather delay... |

They should race cars with roofs, that form a faraday cage, so that lightning isn't a danger. Or is that one of the sciences that murricans don't believe in? |

I would be very surprised if that wasn't the case after the Pocono accident that killed a couple fans |

Seen tweets about this yesterday, and it's happening again. A small group of fans are flocking to the south end of the track at the intersection between 16th & Polco to watch the races - there is a portion of the track visible between the 2 grandstands that separate the South Vista section - this area you can see the video board that sits in front of the museum for the South Vista & Southeast Vista grandstands from outside of the track. Several are standing on the sidewalk while others are watching from their cars in the parking lot. |
