Dude did not need to put himself in that position. He would have won that stage.

Blue Emu obviously belonging to the "any publicity is good publicity" school of thought...

A "loose wheel" (read: probably just dirt on the tyres) means Kyle comes to pit and ends up a lap down

They risked breaking lockdown for THAT

And nothing of value was gained *sigh*

Thursday noted as a write-in postpone date if needed, as there's rain in the forecast for the Busch race

Yea, Bowman tried to win against aero for couple of laps, burned up his tyres and couldn't get anywhere close to Harvick the rest of the race. Typical modern day NASCAR. But hey, glad there's some kind of racing back on track at least. :excited:

Haven't watched a Cup race for longer than like 3 minutes at a time in a while (last one I think being the ROVAL in 2018 - as I had attended it), but I ended up turning it on as race cars are better than no race cars. Honestly zoned out of the TV coverage at the first "interactions on social media says we need more restarts because more people post on restarts" caution & switched over listening to MRN (or) checking Twitter periodically.

Forgot how slow these damn cars are now w/ the low horsepower, at least the high heat during the afternoon was a band-aid to allow some to burn the tires off & allow for a couple battles.

Just hope everything went safe for all involved & that any of the near-future racing events goes safely / without any major spread of the virus.
