Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series, NASCAR XFINITY Series and the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour are competing at Texas Motor Speedway this weekend. This being 1 of 2 major motorsport events this weekend in Texas, the other being the United States Grand Prix at Circuit of the Americas in Austin. Cup & Xfinity are racing at the big track on Saturday & Sunday, while ASCS is racing on the Dirt Track this Thursday & Friday. No other NASCAR regional / international touring series is racing this weekend. Across short track racing: Nashville will have their annual All American 400 for Super Late Models this Sunday afternoon, Charlotte hosts the DRIVEN World Short Track Championship - featuring 9 divisions & over 400 cars in action. East Alabama will have their annual National 100 for Super Late Models this Sunday afternoon as well.
