Maybe I'm in the minority but shit, I'm fuckin impressed with the speed SHR had today. They literally could line up and pull the fuck away. Ridiculous. Also, Kurt should have won. Fuel mileage at a RP track sucks. |

Overtime complaints are well past their use by date, but the best car running out of gas because he didn't plan on running 504 miles is exactly why it's retarded. |

Also did any of the commentary team mention the weird crabbing on the SHR cars and why it might have made them fast, or is that too much to expect of modern NASCAR coverage? |

Oh they absolutely talked about it. At one point I think they even had a freeze frame showing how much more of the RR edge of the 41's spoiler was hidden away compared to another car. |

That race only had 15 lead changes, which is the second lowest number ever recorded at Talladega. The lowest is 13, in that 1973 race with the massive wreck. |

Truck race was pretty good. Awesome to see you actually get a chance to run up front zippy, too bad you got caught up in the mess. I didn't get a chance to watch the Cup race. Sounds like that's a good thing... |

Yeah NASCAR will have to bring in a min/max toe rule for Daytona otherwise that'll just be a SHR demonstration again since nobody else dare run their cars so skewed, BradK made Penske remove the skew after first practice because he said he'd never finish the race if they run it that much and I think from what I gather, several others did the same because the cars were so unstable. |

I just want to point out that the roval thread had more posts than a Talladega thread. NASCAR smells of decay and no amount of Jeff and Brooke Gordon CloseUp toothpaste can mask that. |

Remember Nascar still believes that plate racing is the pinnacle of motorsports. |

It is a major part of their marketing. Remember, NASCAR has been mostly wrecks and Junior the last 20 years. |

Just got a chance to catch up on all the truck race posts, y'all are awesome. That was a hell of a fast truck, just sucks the battery got ripped out when the LR tire blew coming through the trioval. Only 100 yards short. I seriously considered pulling a Ricky Bobby. That was the coolest moment of my life racing up front with those guys. Especially pushing David in the 51. Been a fan of his since he won that Busch race at Kentucky in 2006. If only he hadn't hung me out. |

Great to see you running up front, Robby. Was Dega a one off deal or can we expect to see you in the 33 again soon? |
