I only saw the last 15 laps of that one, but phenomenal racing during that stretch at least.

really enjoyed that race through & through. Loved the endurance aspect of it, and the amount of battles that was going on between the first couple of pit cycles.

Also to a lesser point: it shows that long distance racing is not a bad thing in stock car racing when it's not overly saturated on the schedule

Nice save by Hamlin

Extreme tire wear is awesome. It’s just about the last good thing in Cup (and only on a few tracks) but it’s compelling as hell.

The Busch/Keselowski battle for the lead around 50 to go was great. Otherwise wow, absofuckinglutely nothing happened. How do you have a short track race with only one car spinning out?

I didn't realize it's a Sat night race this week, guess I missed nothing ;) If this race happened 20 years ago I guess we'd gone green all the way? (bc J.Earnhardt would DNQ).

Even this Roval is going to be a major letdown, not because it's crap, but because expectations have been set sooooo high. Every news headline I see is how everybody is terrified of it, it's gonna be carnage etc. The layout they're going to use is much improved from what was originally planned but it's still going to be single file follow the leader if my NR2k3 thrown together copy is anything to go by, there are no overtaking spots at all, most of the corners are high speed ones and the layout of the "inner loop" on the back stretch won't see one overtake all weekend.

You won't even see any lastl lap dive bombs in the trioval chicane because it's a quick flick right left too. Maybe turn one will be the only spot to overtake or turn 6, if we're lucky.

Sorry to be a Debbie downer but I wasn't impressed with driving it in nr.

Oh I'm expecting a total shitshow

NASCAR can't have nice things...

I'd love to be proven wrong, would make my week, but the track is just so frustrating to drive (mind you I have put grass on the infield instead of a massive flat concrete USA flag lol) so you can't use the Tarmac run offs that aren't there.

Maybe I should add some, see how it drives.

Well if you have low expectations you can't be disappointed
