NASCAR Cup, Xfinity, Trucks & K&N West is racing in Las Vegas this weekend with the top 3 series at the big track, and K&N West at the dirt track. ARCA will have their second race of the year at the highbanks of Salem, which is also throwback weekend for the series. NASCAR's Whelen Euro Series will have their first playoff rounds at the Hockenheimring in Germany.

On the short track side of things: Following the washout at Eldora, the top dirt late model teams will travel to the Sprint Car Capital of the World for the Lucas Oil Knoxville Late Model Nationals at Knoxville (IA) - this event is apart of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series trail, ARCA/CRA Super Late Models & Outlaw Late Models will be running at Toledo (OH) in annual Glass City 200 event, Valenti Modified Racing Series & the NEMA Midgets will be running at Waterford (CT), APC United Late Models will be in action at Delaware (ONT), Super DIRTcar Series Big Block Modifieds will be racing at Brewerton (NY) & Mohawk (NY), Parts For Trucks Pro Stock Tour has their season finale at Scotia (NS), Lucas Oil Modifieds will be running on the tight bullring at Orange Show (CA).

tape delay on the 21st, no live coverage on NBCSN or FansChoice (despite them trying it at New Smyrna, guess it didn't hit the number they were looking for to continue it)

Better than nothing at least, just wish they would bring back the live online radio coverage for Mods & K&N like what most other major short track series have done for the past 15 years (i.e. World of Outlaws, Super DIRTcar, USAC, various others), I guess putting emojis on the Cup cars is a bigger focus than promoting their regional tours tho

K&N cars were testing at the dirt track today

This week has proved what impact a companion race has on the truck series entry list. Last year's stand alone race at Vegas had 29 entries. This year, there are 36 entries after two teams withdrew.

Fell asleep watching a modified race and for some reason had a dream that Stewart Friesen won a truck race. I think the track was like Pocono or something iono but what a random ass thing to dream about lol

I have been there last year. It was worth watching. Of course they are looking much slower than GT or Formula Cars, but racing was close and fun to watch. Tickets for the weekend were quite cheap at 40 €.
