That was fun to watch. I knew it was a matter of time before Chase Elliott won a race. You could tell early on that Chase Elliott seemed to be more determined than ever to win this one. This might be the happiest I've been about a Chevy winning a race ever. Chase Elliott earned every bit of that win.

And it's only the second win of the season for Chevrolet, which snapped a 20-race drought for them.

Chevrolet's longest win drought in the modern era (post-1972) stretched 31 races long, which began with the 1981 Daytona 500 (won by Richard Petty in a Buick Regal) and was snapped by Dave Marcis when he won a rain-shortened race at Richmond the following season.

Habul owns Sun Energy who sponsored Chase yesterday...
