If like, 15 years ago, you would have told me that NASCAR would have a triple-header weekend at a track less than an hour's drive from my house every year right around my birthday, I would have lost sleep due to the excitement.

<cut to present day> A few minutes ago I just realized there's a truck race here tonight.

I guess all my advice worked out and Robby Lyons is back at the track so there’s that.

Only reason any one pays attention to trucks.

I guess the trick to saving NASCAR is every fan having some sort of personal connection to the drivers.

I propose NASCAR allowing up to 2000 cars start every race. All they have to do is be stock bodied sedans with the doors welded shut and drivers having a helmet that has been tested by the American Bicycle Association.

Robby starts 23rd. Unfortunately I never gave him qualifying advice so that all on him. If he gets out of the truck halfway through the race and eats a tray of pierogi, that was all me.

This track needs a joker lap.

Who am I kidding, every lap is a joke.

Just keep staring at the position graphic to see when it scrolls around to Lyons

He will literally only be seen on Tv if he flips it (plz don't, Robbie!) because only the cup drivers matter to the TV crew

Currently running just outside the top 20 tho...

I think the 75 and 52 went side by side for the entire lap there, for the lead

Obviously, TV Crew thought that was a great time to cut to crew chiefs watching the side by side rather than showing the side by side.
