lol, the Xfinity cars are running the high drag package this weekend and it's gonna be exquisitely stupid. Fastest average lap speed so far is about 157 mph and it sounds like the only place where they're lifting is in T1 (and only for a moment).

I've been half watching busch practice but it doesn't seem the cars are able to race near each other. Or they are just not trying to.

Whatever the case, lap averages of under 160 at Pocono is hilarious.

And yet r/nascar will eat this shit up and claim it's the greatest racing ever.

Fontana, Michigan and Pocono are like the three most boring tracks in NASCAR...

Another Harvick win here?

-completely unique shape
-comfy setting
-only oval with shifting

The races can be "boring" here, but there are many ovals I'd rank below it.

Yeaa, I like Pocono because it's different. I don't mind a boring race here.

They're running another high drag package?

Sounds like my weekend plans are a hell of a lot more fun than whatever garbage they've got cooked up here. It's a shame too, because I've always enjoyed Pocono.

And LOL at the thread title. I guess it shows how far NASCAR has fallen.

Cup cars are running their regular package. Not saying their race will be good, just got the impression from your post that you thought both series will be running the high-drag/restrictor plate configuration.

Ah, I misworded that one. Glad at least the Cup Series is running something normal.

She started the race to get points and Brennan Poole is taking over.

I have David Ragan in the Random Fantasy Game this week.

Still, a hernia surgery is kinda gnarly. I've had one before. Just the thought of climbing in and out of a car makes me cringe

Good to see ARCA cleanups still take twice as long as they should.
