Earnhardt Jr. again, just like at Auto Club.

ARCA is running at Nashville this weekend, they've got a decent entry list and the race is on MavTV (if you're lucky enough to get the channel). I'm not making it down there this weekend, I've been fighting a sinus infection the past two weeks and really don't feel like doing much.

Vegas: Cassill
Phoenix: Bayne

Daytona: Allmendinger
Atlanta: Kenseth
Vegas: Sorenson
Phoenix: Ty Dillon
Fontana: McDowell
Martinsville: McMurray <--- went well then...
Texas: McDowell

Only three good ones, does seem to be a trend of getting a driver a second time this early in the season.

On paper, my picks for the most part have been between Perfectly Mediocre and Very Good on paper but haven't panned out.

Daytona: Landon Cassill
Atlanta: Jimmie Johnson
Las Vegas: Jamie McMurray
Phoenix: Aric Almirola
California: Chase Elliott
Martinsville: Denny Hamlin
Texas: Austin Dillon

haven't paid much attention to the top 3 NASCAR series this year but interested to see how the banking changes effect the racing at Texas this weekend.

-

(some other notes)

for those who don't have access to MavTV. the ARCA race will be live streamed on LucasOilRacing.TV (subscription based site) as well this weekend.

NASCAR's Whelen Euro Series also has their season opener at Valencia, and will be live streamed on FansChoice.TV

Icebreaker at Thompson also this weekend for the Mods after last weekend's weather postponement. Seeing some press releases that it will be on FansChoice but it's not on their stream schedule anymore.

Texas has painted dotted lines in the corners for lanes... I love the look of that. I wish Darlington would go back to that.

Man, the new profile of the T2 exit is pure death. What a ridiculous configuration this is. The entry to 1 isn't exactly great either.

They are going to tear up some race cars. I don't have the volume on at work but it looks like they are tip toeing around 1 & 2. I just don't see how anyone can run the middle or top of 1 & 2 with that transition to the back stretch off of 2.

Oh yeah, they're just really coasting through 1 & 2.
