Sounds like a lateral move to me, if it happens. Elliott Sadler deserves to be in top tier equipment in the Nationwide Series. I've always liked Elliott Sadler. I hope he does well no matter who he drives for next year.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't there talk of Hornish's Nationwide sponsor jumping up with him if Penske started a 3rd team? Either way, bad move to put Logano in the 22, I reckon a full year or two of Nationwide without the burden of a full Cup scheudle would do him the world of good.

Yeah Penske has said that they've talked to Sam's NNS sponsor about moving up. Joey needs some full time Nationwide seat time with less pressure on him.

Honestly Im not super thrilled about this as Im a longtime Kenseth fan, but who knows, maybe he'll pick up more wins per season.

Yeah, same here.. been a fan of his since I can remember. I'm honestly happy with him going to Gibbs.. I dunno, I've just started feeling pretty meh towards Roush lately.

I'd say this has been one of the more memorable silly seasons in recent memory. Busch to Penske\McMurray to Roush was pretty big, but there haven't been big moves like this since then, at least.

I don't buy that the sponsor wants to move up but I'm a negative person so let's hope I'm wrong. Sam has more than proven that he is ready to be a contender in the Cup series.

The more I read what I wrote the more I realize I have absolutely no reason to believe that the sponsor would or wouldn't move up series. It's been a real shitty day
