Well, she drives a race car. I suppose that would do it for some folks.

Kinda like why I find Kristen Wiig (Saturday Night Live) hot because she's funny. Funny chicks are hot. lol

Will Winter Testing be streaming on Speed.com this year?

TRG is done in the Cup Series (Car #71)

Trevor Bayne is returning to the Wood Brothers.

Germain is switching Manufactures. Maybe they won't blow motors every other w

Real sad about Tiny Lund's widow. I remember my dad telling me about his buddy coming back from a race one night that he won. He dropped off his mother at her house, drove down the street to his house and got a call a short time later that his dad killed himself in the kitchen while they were racing. I'll never understand suicide but people have there own reasons, just so sad.

Q: How do you kill a career before it really even starts?

Actually that 70 car's underrated, and has been ever since Mark Green drove it. If Johanna can string out a top 10 or two in that car, then I reckon she'd be doing her career no harm.

Oh btw:

I think she belongs in a Nationwide car 100x more than Maryeve Dufault... remember Montreal?

Less than a week after announcing a new NASCAR Sprint Cup Series ride with Tommy Baldwin Racing, David Reutimann now has a seat on the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.

Reutimann has signed to run 13-15 races on the 2012 Camping World Truck Series for RBR Enterprises, which teamed with driver Clay Rogers to finish 20th in points a year ago, despite running only 15 of 25 events. Jason Overstreet -- who worked with Reutimann when he won the 2004 Truck Series Rookie of the Year title with Darrell Waltrip Motorsports – will serve as crew chief.

“RBR is a small team, but when they do something, they do it right,” said Reutimann today. “(Team owner) Ricky Benton did a nice job last year, and they have improved their trucks and engine program during the offseason. They need a little more budget to race full-time, but the races we run will be done right.”

“We’re definitely looking to add another marketing partner or two,” admitted Benton, who finished third in the 2011 opener at Daytona International Speedway with Rogers at the wheel, and led the Camping World Truck Series points early in the season. “We’ll have Black’s Tire and BTS Tire and Wheel on the No. 92 Chevrolet Silverado again this season, but those are my own companies. If we can find some additional sponsor help, there’s a chance we could run the entire Truck Series schedule.”

The team will debut in the 2012 lid-lifter at Daytona, with subsequent races to be announced.

She'd be just fine for me plus she's a race car driver. It'd be awesome.

She's cute. And I'm with Andre, Kristen Wiig is too.

Anywho, just heard on the Sirius station that RWI has closed their doors indefinitely.

I also think it's high time they design a more shapely fire suit for our female driving friends.

Germain Racing switches manufacturers: Germain Racing, owned by Bob Germain Jr., announced they will join the Ford Racing family for the 2012 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season. The team's move to Ford means their #13 GEICO entry will become the #13 GEICO Ford Fusion. Germain explains that the move is well in line with long-term Germain family relationships. "The Germain's have a long history with Ford Motor Company. My grandfather worked with Henry Ford as an accountant and my father worked as a guide in the Henry Ford Museum. Our family currently owns and operates both Ford and Lincoln dealerships and we have many friends at Ford Motor Company. I'm excited to join the Ford Racing team," said Germain. "Germain Racing is focused on getting strong results for our GEICO Fusion program. Heading into NASCAR's first season of electronic fuel injection, we are extremely confident in the technology and engines from Roush & Yates Racing Engines that we will race this season," said Germain, whose team has services agreements with Roush & Yates Racing Engines and Roush Fenway Racing for the coming year. Germain Racing will again feature the talent of driver Casey Mears behind the wheel of the #13 GEICO Fusion entry. Mears joined Germain in 2010.
In November, GEICO agreed to a sponsorship extension that will see the Gecko adorning the hood of the #13 Germain Racing NASCAR Sprint Cup Series entry through at least the 2014 season. GEICO coupled the extension with an increase in involvement, ramping up the number of primary races at which they will serve as the primary sponsor. Thinking along the lines of continuity, team owner Bob Germain subsequently extended Mears' contract, while also retaining crew chief Bootie Barker, who will continue to call the shots for Mears and the GEICO team. When the #13 GEICO Ford Fusion rolls off of the truck for Daytona 500 practice in February, NASCAR fans will be met with a new, exciting paint scheme that will serve as a re-launching of sorts of the GEICO NASCAR Sprint Cup Series program. For most of the previous eleven years, GEICO racecars have featured some variation of the color red, but beginning in 2012, Mears will pilot a car that features the lively color combination of blue and white with green accents.(Germain Racing)(1-6-2012)

Are they still failing to qualify with Casey Mears, or have they moved on to another driver to fill the car for those 2 laps?

I was actually curious. I just asked the question in a very teasing form.

In all seriousness, with a decent sponsor like Geico, I'm surprised they don't do better.
