Remember when California was a truly DREADED weekend?? Now it's the only one of the cookie cutter type tracks that seems to produce epic racing

It only took 17 years. The 2028 Kentucky race is gonna be EPIC!

It's because it took a long time for Fontana to get really worn and bumpy. Kentucky is already the roughest track on the schedule. Probably not likely to change into a great race-track any time soon.

I almost think that with the corner geometry and width, this track in particular might be better for racing if the surface were fresher. Could be just a weird, baseless feeling I have though.
