That really wasn't a bad race, lots of strategy.

Kenseth is just... :8:

So, can we just hand Kenseth the championship trophy now? I'm surprised he won at his statistically worst track.

This was a great race.

Loudon should be replaced with Road America.

Wasn't Kenseth the reason NASCAR implemented the chase? I would love to see him wrap up the championship at Phoenix just to rub it in their faces.

If not, sooner.

Those Kenseth robot commercials from ten years ago would be real appropriate now. We always knew he was great but Gibbs has unleashed his full potential.

Impressive how competitive everyone is overall so far into the Chase. Gordon made one mistake on a late pitstop and could never recover from it. Seems like things like that will forever keep him from winning that elusive fifth title. You could recover from those sort of mistakes in the 90s but not today.

It was a matter of one or two inches, and he's really beating himself up over it. I'm sure he'll get over it, though. I think they just need to win a race before the year is out and get set for next year. They kinda fluked into the Chase, and I never expected them to contend for the title. Yesterday's mistake didn't bother me like it bothered other overly critical fans of his. :)

And back to Kenseth, holy crap, they're strong. I went from not really wanting him to win the title (simply because he already has one) to getting a serious kick out of him showing the 11 and 18 teams exactly what these cars are\have been capable of. Kyle's doing well too, of course, but that's a first for him in the Chase.

Meanwhile, Denny's saying the cars can't drive worth a damn while his teammates have won a crapton this year already. He's not 100% physically, that's for sure, but he hasn't been 100% mentally since Phoenix in 2010. He's just too proud to admit either.

Andre, I'm just surprised FedEx haven't put their foot down and told him to go rest up for 2014 instead of running half-assed in pain like this.

Me too, FedEx, Joe or J.D. Gibbs, or anyone else with a say in the matter should have been trying to convince him to do that. I'm not a fan of his, but if I was, I'd be pissed, or at least worried about his ability to get into victory lane in the future - not just this year, but next year, and the next year.
