If they used a proper format, it would be 18 drivers (those who got poles from 2011) and a few past champion/past winner provisional spots. Then run for 20 laps and call it good.

They need to revert back to that format... A race at Daytona that's only 20 laps puts some major emphasis on "Hurry the fuck up and get to the front."
