For once, I'm actually frustrated that Fox Sports and/or NBCSN don't have their typical overkill post-race coverage. It really sucks being in the dark like this.

It was one of those impacts that will naturally toss the car up into the air a little bit to begin with (think about Marcis at Pocono back in the day, or Vickers at Charlotte around 2005-ish). Add the speed they're going and the air just grabbed it as soon as it was lifted and flung him on over.

What i find stupid is Hamlin probably didnt know the severity of Newmans crash but the spotter and team must have known.
So why they didnt inform Hamlin.

The awful thing is that he hit the wall driver side, got hit in the driver side roof and came down on the roof. There's only so much the rollcage can take.

Looks like he was rushed to the Trauma center at Halifax hospital with the aid of police escort.
