Great racing overall, looking forward to next week even more so after seeing that.
Shame about the last lap, but oh well.

Much better than the shitfest of a debut from this car last year.

Newman was really strong too. I'm calling it now; Austin Dillion wins the pole tomorrow.

I actually really enjoyed that race, especially the closing laps. Watching everybody in the back actually RACING to try and win. Watching Kyle fight the Penske cars off. Great driving by all of them. There's really alot more strategy to pack racing this year it looks like than last year.

Not bad. Shootout had some good stuff and some lulzy stuff. Wish ARCA could figure shit out more for Daytona, but eh par for the course as of late. Should be an interesting next weekend for sure.

Have you ever?

No, I have never seen a shittier finish (or a shittier winner) in a plate race than that.

It seemed at times the leader could pull about 5 lengths on the field and stay there for a bit.

There have been plenty of worse plate finishes and winners than that.

I don't like Hamlin either, but he made a great move, and the 2nd and 3rd place cars were too busy fighting to pull back up on him.

What about the last plate race we've seen? The autumn Talladega race had a terrible finish (with the caution being thrown without any reason).

I really like how the cars are racing, and how much of a draft you can get. I just worry there won't be any cars left in a 500 mile race. It's very easy to make mistakes with that closing speed. On one hand I don't want any changes to the cars, on the other, I at least want to see some cars running at the finish.

Hoping for a good 500 :)

This race did show they can make moves when they decide to.

I thought the racing last night was fan-bloody-tastic. Not the best result, but hey, if I can come around and start liking Matt Kenseth, I'm looking forward to when I can say I don't hate Denny quite as much.

But don't worry, I still do.

I also think you all need glasses for thinking Chase could have done anything differently to avoid causing that big one. The 99 did exactly like Jimmie did later on, came up off the yellow line and slowed the fuck down, and of course Chase got into him. That shit's going to happen. Sure, he doesn't have the best reputation preceeding him lately, but that one last night wasn't avoidable, IMO.

Anyone got a stream for qualifying?
