He was probably knocked out for a few minutes. I know from having 9 concussions that when you do wake up you don't really know what's going on. I've had no choice but to take a trip to the hospital in a neck brace just as a precaution. If you lose consciousness the medic is usually required to send you to the hospital to get a head scan. I've even had the misfortune of being airlifted for nothing but precaution. Talk about $$$.

Rain a bit of a problem this morning at Talladega, the place is soaked, and another hard shower moving thru. I wouldn't be surprised if this one wasn't delayed a bit. 80% chance of rain thru the day. I think as long as we start by 3pm central time we should be okay to get the whole thing in before darkness.

I know the Auburndale track announcer would spoil a race in a heartbeat. They did it to me when I was there instead of at home watching the '08 Bud Shootout. I'm in the same boat though, only I have to go in to work at 3. I'd be cool with a Monday morning race.
