Carl Long parked the 15 then was switching to the 74 which had a half-race-distance plan but Lepage had to get out early to spot for the Sauter kid in the 87. Makes perfect sense!

Meh, they can barely fill the field in any of the three NASCAR top series any more so the teams running spare cars for a payday isn't really harming anyone.

Quality over quantity. Bet some of them would actually try to finish if they had to.

NASCAR have been making it pretty clear for the last 10 years at least that they want full fields and will look the other way when people pull it behind the wall. Morgan Shepherd's made a fortune out of parking for jesus.
