This is probably one of the dumbest things i've ever asked but it just popped in my head.

If an earthquake happened during one of the major races at California, do you think the drivers would notice on the track or would they just think a tire or something had gone bad on the car/truck?

Again, probably dumb but oh well.

Interesting. I'm sure they would notice. I remember reading in Steve Olvey's book that he was so disoriented during an earthquake he thought he was having a stroke. And he was just standing still. I have no clue how a driver at speed would experience it but I think they'd certainly notice something really strange.

Here's hoping for a Top 5 for Vickers and a solid run for the G.O.A.T. in trucks.

Mike Bliss was fastest in Nationwide final practice. Kyle Busch set the bar in the 15 minutes he was on track, but Bliss put down a blistering lap late in the session to knock him off.

3 other series regulars posted times in the top ten - Steven Wallace (8th), Brendan Gaughan (9th), and Brad Keselowski (10th)

Something else of note: K-Automotive teammates Brian Keselowski and Dennis Setzer both swapped cars at one point in the session. Brian drove both the #26 and #96, while Setzer did the same. Day Enterprises teammates Casey Atwood and Justin Ashburn swapped cars altogether for this session.

I know it's early in the season, but I have been suprised by Brendan Gaughan's performance thus far in the Nationwide series. He has a good car and he has, so far, made the best of it. I like Brendan, I think he is a very down to earth person and a capable wheel man.

And that will put Jamie McMurray in the hands of the field at the green flag.

Shame to see Vickers fall back like that - I don't think he can recover from that all too easy with the CoT

If you have a HD tv, you'd only need a stream for the truck race and Nationwide qualifying. If the Nationwide race was live, I would be able to watch it, but because the race is being shown here at 6:30pm tomorrow night, and as I'm the only one who likes NASCAR and the rest of my family will probably find some other bullshit to watch out on our main TV, then I'll probably miss it more likely than not.

It's not too hard to pass at California, especially if you are as fast as Vickers. I say he makes his way to the top-10 by quarter distance. :D

Hopefully he can use some strategy and hopefully he has a car that works well in traffic, too.

Justin Ashburn is driving a restrictor plate trimmed car in qualifying. 8O He was over 7 seconds off pole and he still was faster than his practice lap.

EDIT: Now we have an animal on the track. It is a gray fox. Great line from Hammond. "It is hungry and looking for Digger."
