Haley didn't have to go that low, he fucked himself out of a win.

Fucking bullshit ass yellow line rule strikes again. I like how Dale Jr reacted to that, how Haley just did what a driver's natural instincts are to avoid a chance at making contact. So they're penalizing a driver for doing the SAFE thing now.

As others have pointed out, you can finish first with an illegal car and keep a win. You can Austin Dillon someone and keep a win. But if you go 2" below the yellow, you get put to the end of the lead lap.

What a pass by Justin. I feel bad for that team. Terrible call.

NASCAR is so ineptly run it actually boggles the mind a good deal. I love Larson, and I'm glad he beat Sadler, but god damn that sucks for Haley. It's a load of shit to be honest. Every other superspeedway race has this sort of finish with some rules bullshit, whether it be the field freezing in an arbitrary place as they're coming to the line, or penalties for amazing passes like in this race, or huge crashes because people had to chose between a penalty and a wreck.

It really is amazing HOW dumb they manage to be like it's a feat it's a straight up accomplishment on their part, the sheer, monumental scale of NASCAR's ineptitude. Shameful.
