The official photographer couldn't make it so they asked me to take pictures for them. I'm used to just showing up and taking photos at my leisure, so taking photos for someone else was a bit different. I also had to handle the pole award and victory lane stuff, which wasn't too bad. Nice little track.

Do you have any shots of the track itself? I'm curious to see what it looks like...

I have a few wider angle shots from my phone, but nothing of the entire track.

Here's a video of the first laps or so, which more or less shows what the place is like.

I'm the guy between the rollback & the pit cart at :11 if you look close enough... and later on you can see me walking across the infield. With an official shirt I blend in much better than I used to!

NBC will televise Winchester, Berlin, Springfield & Madison. Tape delayed and they air at 11pm(not the greatest time), but at least they're finally on television. Hoping it's not condensed down to an hour, but we'll see...

Great news, but also a shame they didn't pick up the Salem race. Winchester is great news though since I won't be able to make that race in person even though I hoped to. It's the same weekend as the 6 Hours of Watkins Glen which I AM attending.

Yea, too bad no Salem but Winchester makes up for it I guess. Regardless, this is fucking awesome. Don't think I've ever seen a proper broadcasted race from any one of those tracks.

Well, if interest is high enough, I could see them airing live races next season.

Wow, I just had a notion to look through my archives and found I actually have that full race. Not sure when I even downloaded it.

Hope this year's event is run at night too. Love that old fashioned dim lighting at a short track.

This year's event will be a day race, like last year. 2pm green flag.

Ah, 10-4.

I just noticed that the Winchester race is this weekend, yet not being shown till August... wow, that sucks. That's almost Hooters Pro Cup style TV delay there.

Well, on the bright side, we're likely to forget who won it by then.

In case anyone is wondering, the commentators for NBC Sports' ARCA broadcasts will be Rick Benjamin & Jim Tretow. There is no pit reporter, which I find odd.
