Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

I still remain suspicious that's exactly why Fox and the other broadcasters he works for allow Mikey to race these races in the first place

"Fine, we'll write you can run plate races into your contract, but cause us a few wrecks will ya Mikey?"

I'm surprised he did so well keeping it low on the bank. Thought for sure he was going to slide straight up the hill the moment he entered the corner.

How in the fuck do you figure Waltrip caused that?

There would be less of a chance of being wrecked for the first caution as usually it's for something like debris or a competition caution (surprised there wasn't one of those today).

There's less of a chance sure, but still, he was inches from being caught up in the wreck that brought out the caution. You can't leave it to chance. My point is that if it was safe for him to be out there at all, then surely it should be safe for him to do the whole race.

Not much Truex/Waltrip could do there.. Logano was shoving Truex so hard, couldn't keep the car straight, hit Waltrip off-center.

Wasn't a cause thing, just he always crashes out of the few races he enters....it's a good hit rate for sure.

It probably wasn't safe. If he had gotten into a wreck, he could have been in trouble. But that's the risk he chose to take.

looking at the radar right now, there is several small pop ups in Birmingham but the closest cell is tracking just to the northwest of the track. It's getting a tad bigger, might hit the track just barely
