Did Jimmie get punched in the face? His right eye looks bruised.

Wow did Tony intentionally give up the lead coming to the white flag?? It sure looked like he backed out off of t4. If so he looks brilliant now.

No, Kyle had a run and Hamlin was with him, but Tony cut off Hamlin on the final lap.

I did LULZ a bit at Petty saying "you block like that, you end up in the GRANDSTANDS!" during the first round of replays.

Every year NASCAR raises the bar, but I'd rather they didn't use the Tally crash as the new precident for describing an exciting finish! :8:

Busch has declined to comment. The officials had to fight him to go to the infield care center.

I completely sympathize. You don't want to win a race that way, being involved in an incident that wrecks your opponent that hard.

Kyle Busch's idiocy finally bit him. It was a pity it didn't hurt more, maybe he would have learned something then.

Nope, they should use Craven vs Kurt Busch Darlington 2003 as the precident.

That shot he took in the door from Logano was nasty as hell.

I don't think Kyle would've won that one, had he not applied that 2nd block. Tony already had the run going.

Eitherway, technically yes, it was Kyle's fault, but he was going for the win as much as Tony was. It's racing.

Glad that Kyle's ok though. He took some AWFULLY HARD hits, so I was a bit concerned for him at first.

Absolutely great replays of the finish too, the crash caught from many angles and Kyle's various airs caught in close up.

ARE YOU LISTENING ESPN? THIS IS HOW REPLAYS SHOULD WORK!

I simply cannot wait to see how many of them Sky cut out of their replay tomorrow! :yuk:

Post pretty much sums up my thoughts on it too. Busch wasn't going to win after that first block but still cost himself a lot of spots and a good car.

Overall, the race wasn't all that great. Fell asleep for about 20 laps, didn't miss anything. Last 4 laps were pretty good but at a plate track the last 4 laps had better damn well be pretty good. If they're not then there are some serious problems.

I was worried for Kyle immediately after that one. I did clap when he got out of the car. A lot of guys took some very serious shots right there. Just glad everyone got out. The cause for that was simple...

All's fair in love, war and the last lap.
