Would be fun if NBC did old school looking graphics as well.

From the rumors I heard, they could be. They been using the 1970's NBC logos in the commercial promos for that weekend too.

I'm going to be disappointed when Kenseth shows up with his generic Dollar General scheme. :(

Leave it up to Kenseth and JGR to buzzkill the field. Guess the 11 is doing a scheme but haven't heard anything from the other three.

I read that the #18 team tried to get M&M's to do a retro paint scheme but M&M's didn't want to do it. I'd like to know why they couldn't do a retro Interstate Batteries scheme. It sounds like the #11 is the only Gibbs car to run a classic scheme at Darlington, unfortunately.

So who else is flaking on a scheme? Sounds like Gordon, haven't heard anything from Kasey Kahne's team (could see them doing a Kellogg's scheme) The 22, and I sure wouldn't call the Harvick , Patrick or Biffle schemes actual throwbacks

Gordon and Busch are the only two I think confirmed. I'd be super disspointed if Joey Logano didn't show up in something resembling this

It looks like that sponsor has kept their logo from 1998 too.

I was thinking something along the lines of the red and black pinstripe scheme, Rick Mears drove, not the Al Unser scheme like I first was thinking of.

Harvick's is a throwback to Budweiser's first canned beer. It was actually those colors.

As far as Kahne, why not run the Labonte Kellogg's scheme or even better, the old Levi Garrett scheme?

Patrick's isn't a "throwback" but a tribute to "The Lady in Black".... ghey

2 valvoline schemes in the race. Again a shame the 96-97 scheme isn't one

You know, I never noticed those were Vs on the Valvoline car until I saw the As on this one.

16 years later lol

Haven't seen it yet, but I hope Furniture Row runs a throwback scheme to when Regan won the Southern 500 in 2011

Wait
