For a minute, I was about to ask how in the fuck at 18 is William Byron that smart to dupe Suarez out of the bottom groove and get the lead, but then he blew it himself in the very next corner...

Modified spoilers
Spoiler:
Wade Cole spun on lap 85

Jimmy Blewett was involved in a accident on lap 95

Eric Goodale won on a GWC

and the media doesn't know why they shortened the race.

Whoever is in charge at NASCAR that seemingly hate Modifieds and Trucks should fuck off and retire already.

TV usually is in charge.

They've been shortening modified races for decades if they run too long...I was at NHMS in the 90's for an IRL race where it happened too.

Guessing that either Bristol got a weekday curfew after last year's race, or TV didn't want the cameras recording after a certain time with more rain in the forecast for later that night/AM.

What doesn't make sense is the "halfway"/lap 79 break though, when the rain delay was basically one to start with. And because of that halfway break, it cut at least 5 green flag laps between getting them slowed down & in/out of the pits.

Just glad I didn't travel up there after hearing what happened. Bristol never has good luck with weather it seems for the August week.

Ryan Blaney has some speed in the #21 this weekend. Ran well in first practice and is currently quickest in final practice.
