I just want to see Daytona & Talladega start to get rougher pavement again so the cars are harder to drive. Didn't like the tandem style racing a few years ago (for the reasons that Dan said mainly) but I hate the IndyCar circa late 2000's pack racing we have now as well.

The recent races have been good for the most part though, despite the crappy demolition derby finishes we have seen in the past few years.

Epic threads are made with epic members. Those old plate track weekend threads were made great by half our ban list and Justin Q. Snyder.

I'd be all in favor of clearing the ban list for Talladega weekend.

We should have a poll for this weekend. "Whats the biggest your penis ever got when someone started flipping over at Talladega?"

My answer would be a tie for 100% max size.

Official, only one attempt at a GWC this weekend. Maybe, just maybe dudes won't drive like clowns on the last lap.

On another note, kick ass Trook entry list. That race is full of inexperience (Austin Hill, Jordan Anderson, Chris Bell), unsuspecting veterants (Stanton Barrett and Bobby Gerhart) my favorite underrated RP driver Timmy Hill and NO CUPPERS

in 2005 Dan Belcher and Matt wrote this about the Daytona 500 wrote:

How did everyone find the race so spectacular? The last 20 laps were really exciting, but the first 180 were crap!

Dan Belcher wrote: My thoughts EXACTLY. That's why I am not a fan of restrictor plate racing - the racing after the final pitstops is amazing, but the rest is just follow-the-leader for 3 hours.
