All i had to do was check the race once on my phone to see Keselowski had a 7 second lead. Didnt need to check it again and the result was the same in the end. Oh well.

Guess I made the right move to not watch this race and do something else worthwhile.

I thought the race was at night, but I checked this thread to reveal otherwise. Thanks for the warning about bad the race was - didn't see a minute of it. :)

Chris Buescher won the ARCA race at Salem tonight. Will Kimmel finished 2nd. Some great racing, plus Milka Duno and Brett Hudson had an amazing feud with intentional wrecking by both drivers.

The last 130 laps were caution free :8:

I suspect that the Cup race will feature ~ 5 cautions, most of them for debris or some other stupid reason.

Hopefully they'll drive like they did at Richmond. Might get some entertainment at least.

Jet Dryer No.27 shuts down in middle of frontstretch to allow Jet Dryer No. 29 to catch Jet Dryer No.24. Just good, hard track drying.

I know it wouldn't be much better but why don't they do what they used to do in rain delays like this and show the race from last year or something? They used to do it all the time. Now it's just talk about everything you possibly can. They were talking about the '79 Daytona 500 at one point. Would be cooler if they went back and showed the race from 10 years ago.

Post subject:  Re: Cup/N'Wide/Truck @ Chicagoland

they've been told to take the cars to pitlane at 6.45 EST
They hope to start the race sometime between 7 & 7.30 depending how long it takes to finish up the track drying.
