Does NASCAR not penalize for jumping the start anymore, or do they just run it like IRacing?

To my understanding, besides the original race start, the leader determines the start. There's supposed to be markings on the wall where the leader can start. One to show where he can start and another where if he hasn't gone yet the flagger throws the green.

Does that account for him having at least 2 car lengths at the line? Carl is not that much better than the rest of the field. I mean, look at the previous restart.

Yea I know what you mean. Kyle Busch does it all the time too. All the leaders will try it if they can. NASCAR never seems to have a problem with it.

Yes, and next season hopefully it's a Nationwide-only driver taking the Championship honors. :-)

So you're positive Keselowski and Edwards won't be back full-time?

They'll be back but NASCAR are going to come up with a way to prevent them from winning the championship. Best way would be to not let them score driver points, only team owner and manufacturer points. Also make any entry with a Cup full-timer ineligible for any of the money bonuses from that race wherever applicable so the NW-only drivers and teams reap those benefits. That big bonus Nationwide puts up should also be off-limits to any Cup full-timer.

Take the owners title away from them, too, as that's kinda how we got here in this situation in the first place.

Well, since I only caught the last 20 laps of the 'Dega races I'll be watching this to get my NASCAR fix.
