I wasn't expecting there to be 44 cars entered for the Nationwide Series race. I heard that Bob Schacht was planning on running a car ready for Bobby Gerhart to run at Daytona but that car isn't on the entry list. I'm wondering about there being non 2010 cars on the entry list unless they are going by when the chassis was built for a cup COT.

NASCAR probably helped ensure that 43 cars atleast showed up for the Nationwide race.

Ding ding ding, we have a winner.

Regardless, going to have to DVR the 400, going to go watch real racing Saturday night. Busch race should be good... Oh, I mean Nationwide.

But that's not quite a bad thing, I don't think.

I'm not surprised that MSRP Motorsports aren't entered at Daytona. They skipped the other two plate races at Daytona and Talladega this year.

No, it's not a bad thing that 43 cars are down there. It remains to be seen the quality of those 43 cars though. However, there is nothing wrong with the sanctioning body padding the field to ensure the fans get what they paid for, as long as they weren't too shady doing it. TBH, I wish more sanctioning bodies took the steps necessary to ensure a full field (primarily the short track touring series.)

One car just crashed hard and went airborn off turn 2 in nationwide practice. It was a black car, don't know who the driver is. :o

Edit: it was paul menard and one other car.

And now the 88 car slammed the inside wall off turn 4! Lost it all by himself.
