Some great last laps for a caution free race that had only 4 cars in the lead pack.

They need to give these things a little more power or a little less drag when they get to Talladega.

Not really a surprise though. The Duels are generally a bit tame anyway, but especially now since the parts shortage means nobody wants to take the slightest chance of wrecking their car.

Just have reservations about this new car in the draft with how big the gaps were between packs and how fast they developed

But yeah, this isn't the time to make judgements, sunday will be the acid test

Yeah, when you get half the cars and the teams don't want to risk the equipment.

We did get a potential view at the end though.

And I'm not even sure how much we can really learn about the new car on Sunday. Remember the 2013 Daytona 500? Everybody was afraid to take any risks with a new car then and just rode around single file until the end, and they didn't even have the parts shortage stuff to worry about then.

The cars also had handling problems, they got better as they learned how to build and set the new cars. This one seems to not be a handful like that, so it should have more side by side racing on sunday.

What I missed this last race was Fox focusing on Grala at the end, that was the big story of the race and there's not a single footage of it.

It won't start by the look of it. Has to start to the Duel to keep the spot doesn't he?

That's what they just said....yeah. We'll see if NASCAR sticks to it/showing up to the pit lane counts

Oh well, more time for him to generate needless contraversial headlines to keep his name in the press

"The new cars look ugly, Micheal Masi killed a guy once, Ferrari should be pink, F1 should have women taking over the cars during the race in mid-race pit stops" or whatever other mud he can throw at the wall in the hope something sticks

So they have a hinged bumper now connected to the roof flap to make sure no air goes under the car in a spin?

Huh. Neat.

Biffle up into the top 10 while Hill has gone a lap down.

Generally seems like more going on in this one then the first duel.

...and now we go back to the single file train.
