I watch Nascar rarely, only about one race per year, and each time it's dull. Commercials make watching a misery.
Obviously the race had been sensational if I wouldn't have watched it.

Biffle is a wimp. I think it's obvious at this point that he doesn't really care much for that whole "winning" thing. Maybe an exaggeration, but this keeps happening. He's in a position where he can potentially make something happen, and he just doesn't go.

so the only out and out great race this weekend was the Nationwide and even then that finish left a massive sour taste in all of our mouths so...great.

And if NASCAR ever threatens to do that short track Modified and other national series races on that SOS track then you know they've lost complete contact with reality or what the fans want.

Oh well, kudos to Jimmie for actually racing and getting himself ahead in that fortunate timing loop. Pretty much the worst 500 ever I think.

Here's hoping the car will be better on the other track types. In the mean time, NASCAR needs to get some people working on how to make passing on superspeedways easier with this car.

If the car is better on non plate tracks I'll be ok with today's race sucking. They can always add a roof fin or do some other thing to fix the plate tracks.
