Make it that no time counts after the clock hits 0:00. Don't give a fuck if you're on a lap or not. When it hits zero you are done. |

Might as well just split the field in half and run a couple of 20 lappers. Makes it more exciting than single-car runs, eliminates this group silliness, and can function as good practice. Plus Daytona (for the 500) would still stand out because they're much longer races and require pitting. |
