Well, a Danica wreck and people bitching about others having too much fun will do that.

Sadler went straight to NASCAR hauler after race, didn't do interviews. They already got Danica's DNF interview, so they figured they were good.

Sadler has spoken to the media, says NASCAR told him he didn't do anything wrong... haven't actually heard from NASCAR yet.

As per Jeff Gluck's Twitter...

"Diff than start of race bc leader “did not go” at start of race, NASCAR says" Also, Sadler would have been required to give Keselowski his spot back in that instance... that's a new one, but then again, I've never read the rulebook.

It'd be pretty hard to read the rulebook anyways. There's probably too many smudge marks from all the erasing and rewriting.

They could just put it online. I don't see what's so hard about the rulebook being available.

That's not accurate.

Everyone knows that their rulebook is either a whiteboard or a folder full of paper with smudge marks/ink crossings.

Nationwide cars suck...so hard at Indy.

We can only hope attendance was bad enough that NASCAR decides it's not worth the trouble and just go back to IRP.

According to Raceday, Mike Helton changed the restart rule on the fly in the drivers meeting this morning. Now, supposedly, a driver who pushes another driver past the leader on a restart is subject to penalty.

Sounds like they realize they screwed up yesterday.

Doesn't make it any easier for Sadler, that really was bullshit.

First time that happens again they won't penalise they driver.

The other thing that nascar has to be careful of is that I'm sure before that restart, the #2 team communicated to the #3 to give him a big push. You could also see the #12 lining up to push the #22. When the push works out legally, it's great teamwork but when something goes wrong, it's an excuse.

I know it's still an hour until the start, but that's quite empty

Anyone got a good stream? In case the coverage is already running...

Not many things get on my nerves these days. The TV networks treating 500 and 400 wins as the same, however, is one of them.
