It's a miracle it hasn't happened yet.

And if you think this is what the Cup race needs, you're a damn fool. We don't need drivers getting hurt because of stupidity on the last lap.

That's a big problem unrelated to the tandems. They still suck, though, point stands.

LOVE tandem racing.

It literally does nothing but produce terrible wrecks anymore. That was a shitty finish with a brutal wreck. Pretty much nothing good came of it.

Have to say I was cheering when Larson flew into the fence at Daytona. Now after seeing all those awful wrecks like Dario's and the Nationwide crashes at Daytona and Talladega I was just shocked to see another one happen. It was good racing though before it. Trucks can still race a little bit side by side so the rest of the season is pretty good too. But with the high tech aero Cup cars I really look forward to Talladega because you finally get to see competitive racing again, artificial or not. Charlotte was the most boring race ever. So I do like the plate racing, and yes if you run close like that you are gonna have wrecks. It's the only track left to really get excited about. It is just stupid of the ESPN guys like Bestwick to think that we fans are only interested in the wrecks. They been setting up races (storylines) with promising us wrecks. At Dover they said we was surely gonna see some wrecks. At Loudon they said that there should be carnage coz they had 12 cautions in the previous Loudon race. We just want to see good racing, side by side, good battles and close finishes. Talladega produces that, thanks to the plate. Back in the day you would hope they would race green flag all the way, now you just hope for the yellow to come out so they bunch them up again.

If someone had hit Paludo harder at the end there I doubt he'd have survived it. Never seem a roof like that.

I know people are criticising the tandem racing but wasn't that wreck started by the pack behind the three tandems?

No, Jeb Burton was specifically run over by his tandem pusher.

Has anyone said what the matter is?

I'm sure he was the guy in the white truck who came steaming into Shrub's door.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

I as others absolutely loathe seeing Busch win these trucks or Nationwide races, but that's the last thing I ever want to see from any driver. He's gonna be hurting once the adrenaline wears off, hope nothing serious. Lets hope for an awesome clean race tomorrow.

That was him.

I've actually become really close with him and his family this year, and nothing makes me hate this style of racing more than having a friend hurt because of it.

Dude....way to take things uber seriously to the point of sucking the fun out of things.

Fine...I'll never mention him again, you're right it's just me here that's over focused on him as the panto villan of nascar.
I'll stop posting about it and the problem will cease immediately.

P.s. stay out of the btcc threads, you may have another shock to the system.

Treated and released from the infield care center from what I've seen on twitter.

Hoping Lofton isn't injured too seriously. Apparently Ross Chastain told Jim Utter it might be a broken hand for him.

Let's strike a deal. You get to post however you like in the BTCC threads and we all get the rest of the forum to ourselves. :p

Max Gresham said Lofton was complaining of wrist pain, so that would be relieving to know that's all it is.

He hit the wedge created by the 51 and 4, but it seems the heaviest part of that impact was actually into the 4's right side.
