Have to say I was cheering when Larson flew into the fence at Daytona. Now after seeing all those awful wrecks like Dario's and the Nationwide crashes at Daytona and Talladega I was just shocked to see another one happen. It was good racing though before it. Trucks can still race a little bit side by side so the rest of the season is pretty good too. But with the high tech aero Cup cars I really look forward to Talladega because you finally get to see competitive racing again, artificial or not. Charlotte was the most boring race ever. So I do like the plate racing, and yes if you run close like that you are gonna have wrecks. It's the only track left to really get excited about. It is just stupid of the ESPN guys like Bestwick to think that we fans are only interested in the wrecks. They been setting up races (storylines) with promising us wrecks. At Dover they said we was surely gonna see some wrecks. At Loudon they said that there should be carnage coz they had 12 cautions in the previous Loudon race. We just want to see good racing, side by side, good battles and close finishes. Talladega produces that, thanks to the plate. Back in the day you would hope they would race green flag all the way, now you just hope for the yellow to come out so they bunch them up again.

If someone had hit Paludo harder at the end there I doubt he'd have survived it. Never seem a roof like that.

I as others absolutely loathe seeing Busch win these trucks or Nationwide races, but that's the last thing I ever want to see from any driver. He's gonna be hurting once the adrenaline wears off, hope nothing serious. Lets hope for an awesome clean race tomorrow.

I've actually become really close with him and his family this year, and nothing makes me hate this style of racing more than having a friend hurt because of it.

Max Gresham said Lofton was complaining of wrist pain, so that would be relieving to know that's all it is.

He hit the wedge created by the 51 and 4, but it seems the heaviest part of that impact was actually into the 4's right side.
