Yes.

The Busch series uses the same exact chassis as the Cup cars. If it rained out yesterday, they were gonna use them on the Busch cars. If you can use em on the Busch cars, they can be run on the Cup cars.

So the IRL will (stupidly) start a race while its raining ON AN OVAL and NASCAR won't start a race when it's raining on a road course.

If only we could switch the guys making the decisions everything would be perfect with the world!

The rain didn't look too bad they could have easily started it. They probably would have stopped it whenever Johnson got into the lead and called it.

It was no worse than that rain at Pocono
