I live in Connecticut. Most of the people that live here are cool. The people in charge of shit like this are stupid. Really really stupid. Their views don't express how most of us really think.

I don't think Ganassi would sell. I could definitely see Turner-Scott buying out Theresa Earnhardt.

I believe she just owns small share of Earnhardt-Ganassi Racing. She more or less just sold off the race teams to Ganassi and now uses DEI in different fields of business.

It's funny that should come up this weekend. Jayski is reporting a rumor that Chip is considering selling his team to John Menard. :o

Awesome.

As a fellow Connecticut native, I agree with this. The politics in this state are God awful at times.

Truex fastest in opening practice. 192.14 mph.

Doesn't look like the track record is in danger this week.

Alex Bowman knocks Kyle Busch off the pole! He'sunder the weather this weekend, though. Hope he can make it the distance. McClure also missed yesterday's practice due to illness, and Trevor Bayne's crew chief is ill, causing some Roush Fenway crew chief shuffles.

Looks like I was wrong. Kyle Busch just reset the track record with a lap at 196.30 MPH.

I thought Pastrana would be in trouble; everyone seemed to be tight in qualifying except for him, because its supposed to get looser tonight.

Eric McClure has Jeff Green on standby now that Green has parked; may be a driver swap under this caution.
