The race is on, by the way.

Lap 37. Peters took the lead from Dillon a few laps ago.

Austin Dillon and Jason White only 2 tires, to the front spots.

Last 30 or so laps wasn't horribly unbearable.

A bit of a letdown after the decent race at Kentucky.

The shitty racing tonight makes me even more sad about the loss of IRP next year.

I somewhat enjoyed the final 30 laps. There was some decent racing in the back half of the top ten.

However:

Here's hoping Marlin and Chaffin can bring the Fairgrounds to a state in which NASCAR would consider it for Nationwide/Trucks, because this track is a disgrace to the history of racing in Nashville.

Wasn't one of the excuses for ditching the Fairgrounds the seating?

pretty much, I saw the last 30 laps and from a racing point of view, Nashville is just about the worst track

Second half of the race wasn't bad. First half it seemed like everyone except Peters and their crew forgot how to do their job. Jacques de Bries made sure they weren't rewarded for their hard work and gave us a decent finish instead.

Nashville's got nice facilities, but that's about it. They need to bring the short track back as quickly as they can, and run the 320-lappers there.

Hell, replace the race at Kentucky with a 420-lapper at the Nashville Fairgrounds. Because nothing says "Real Racin" more than a 420-lap Cup race at the Nashville Fairgrounds.

Race hasn't even started and the horse is throwing debris onto the track.

EDIT: Kez has led all 34 laps so far. 9 cars parked already.

They said something in prerace about Turner Motorsports drivers not getting paid if they finish outside the top 10?
