Gutted to not see the #7 TRG truck team on the entry list. Fitzpatrick was very impressive last weekend. Good to see a full field but it's a shame that a quarter of it will be most likely be parked within the first ten laps.

They've magically appeared on the Nascar.com entry list:

7 J.R. Fitzpatrick* Cambridge, Ontario Chevrolet Mammoet Kevin Buckler

:)

They still aren't on Jayski's entry list.

They'll be there. Odd how they are just now popping up on the entry lists though.

Interesting that Kevin Buckler talks about competing for the championship. :)

Normally wouldn't be anything to get excited about but it's great to see another competitive team remain on track and the kid sure was a lot more impressive than a lot of these rookies that get overhyped. I know it was just Daytona though...

Really cool to see J.R. getting all of this exposure. For those of you that don't know, he is Canadian and was a NASCAR Canadian tire series racer. He had been in that series for about 4(?) years. I've actually seen him race in Vernon B.C. a couple of times, one of which he won. Seems like a talented driver, and it's great to see another Canadian in the sport.

Hells yeah, man. Hooray for toques and hockey, eh.

I think I was just as thrilled with 4th place run as I was with Gordon's Duel win the day before.

I really don't mind California that much. They run a lot of different grooves and usually there's plently of side by side racing going on mid/back-pack. I always liked MIS too. Last year's spring race was decent also I thought.

I think the trucks put on a pretty good show at California because the draft is a bigger factor for the trucks than it is the car. If there isn't one dominant truck, then it should be a pretty good race.

I can't remember there ever being a good race at California other than last year's Spring race.

Prove me wrong.

I remember one year where Biffle was sliding around on old tires, sideways to the point of where the average man would have walled it. Yet he hung on to win and beat TEAM LOWES to the finish. But yeah, other than that... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I'd say the only race at California that ever made me feel good was 2001, when Rusty Wallace won on what would have been Dale Earnhardt's 50th birthday. Other than that, every race there has been less than "meh."
