When you live in LA you get used to it.

Are you serious? The best seats (besides pressbox) at Pocono go for $80. And they're DAMN GOOD SEATS too, well worth the 80.

Yeah, 2 3rd row seats for the 2006 races cost us at least $155, and 20th row seats for this year's February race cost us at least $200, but for that one we got pit passes, and I don't remember how much extra those cost. It wasn't worth it, especially for this year, for obvious reasons. Unless the racing suddenly gets exciting, I'm only gonna go to the chase races, which will probably be even more boring because everyone's trying to protect their points. And this is coming from someone who records and watches every practice and qualifying that is broadcasted and blows off his friends on Sundays to watch every race.

that's really, really, really, really, really sad

I'm guessing the Sooners game is on Saturday. You could tape/Tivo/DVR the NNS race if you can.

Someone got into the wall in NSCS practice, though I don't know who. And also Clint Bowyer spun off turn 4 in NNS practice. Carl Edwards was fastest in Cup with Jimmie Johnson second and AJ Allmendinger third.

That would be an improvement on his last run at Fontana.

Hopefully the weather holds steady with the heat out there. The hot, slick surface will hopefully bring that nice high groove business.

We're doing pre-qualifying ceremonies now? What the fuck?

Nationwide practice just ended. Lagono was on top by a full 2 mph over Bowyer. Not sure what the time difference is yet but that's some pretty serious rape-age for sure. :o
