I like how companies like Autism Speaks and Race with Insulin are using NASCAR to try and get awareness for their causes to improve people's quality of life....

Then NASCAR accepts NRA sponsorship to try and end people's lives a hell of a lot quicker

Mixed messages, NASCAR :p

I'm not suprised that someone dumped Wallace, the kid has a very long history of rough driving despite his young age, but that was relatively minor contact that initiated that, Hornaday definetely overreacted.

Hornaday should be parked for the next race, if NASCAR wants to keep their consistency.

Hornaday damn well better be parked next week, just like Kyle. Of all the people on the race track, he knows what it's like to be on the receiving end of getting destroyed for completely harmless contact. The punishment absolutely did not fit the crime. I know he probably did it because it was a KBM truck more than anything, but that doesn't make it any more right. Wallace roughed him up a bit. When Hornaday hit him under caution the first time that should have been even, and then they could have raced it out.

I definitely think Ron needs to be parked. BUT its not the same deal yet similar, Ron was in a championship battle when Kyle did that to him. Boils down to granny smiths to macintoshes.

That joke would have been perfect if it weren't actually a dead battery that ruined his race.

Having a real race track and a cookie cutter on the same weekend highlighted once again what a series of blunders NASCAR has made regarding tracks in the past decade. Atleast it was good to see new tyres making a difference at both venues. Something we will probably not see very much of at Kansas this week.

Hornaday definitely overreacted but he has been shoved around a lot by rookies of late so you can somewhat understand his frustration. Still no excuse as Ron is no stranger to routinely overdriving into the corner but perhaps a reminder that if you're the new guy in the series, might be wise to atleast show some respect for the guys that have been there awhile, no matter how much of a douchebag they may be perceived as being. :p
