Honestly? They throw "debris" cautions all the time. They threw a caution for a plastic bottle out of the racing surface this week. They did the same last week.

A car actually spins out and people can't believe NASCAR would throw a yellow? I think they would have thrown the yellow if ANYBODY in the field did what Jr just did.

I'm not saying it should have been a caution. I'm just saying it's not a surprise that they did given what they have called cautions for in the past, including this race, during the middle part of races.
