Maybe this'll be the lesson in humility that turns things around for Kyle finally. I'm a fan of his, but he needs to learn how to handle the bad days better like Johnson does and not stop communicating and giving up when things aren't going well. That cost him so many valuable points throughout this season that it's a shame he lost the Chase by only 8 points. And it's odd that he didn't pick up from Hamlin who's one of the perfect examples of a calculating driver. Tremendous win by him today, never giving up fighting for the lead even for a second. I don't think Gordon could've done anything with him even if he didn't get douched by Clit.

Hats off to Vickers and the #83 bunch. They worked hard, minimized their mistakes and displayed pure professionalism in pressure situations all thru the season and it paid off for them. And now that Vickers seems to have learned how to dig on the short tracks, he'll probably be a genuine contender in the Chase as he's already got the big tracks covered. Plus, it's fun to watch that kid rim-ride with those loosey-goosey setups.

Mark Martin for the Championship!

Admit it, even if Kyle wins, he's still pretty much in between a rock and a hard place.

WOO VICKERS

Not sure if it's been mentioned in prior pages, but Regan Smith got his first career DNF last night - not of his own doing, which is a bit unfortunate, but still an impressive streak.
